Campaign Analysis
As assigned in COM 462- PR/Strategic Communication Case Analysis, I was required to research and analyze a rhetorical crisis. This is a rhetorical analysis of the DuPont Teflon crisis and how the company responded to the many lawsuits filed against them. This term paper digs into all aspects covering the rhetorical artifacts, rhetorical situation, and an evaluation of the situation, offering strategies and rhetorical techniques that could have been utilized.
Breathe Free Campaign
Quantitative Research Study
For COM 403- Strategic Communication Research, my team conducted a complete study of the Breathe Free non-smoking campaign at Flagler College. My team conducted a quantitative research study during the 2020 Spring semester to measure students' attitudes towards the Breathe Free campaign and student’s awareness towards the college’s smoke-free policy. The information collected during this research study was analyzed and used to gauge the campaign’s effectiveness, utilizing primary research through a Qualtrics survey.
CBS Big Brother Season 21
Media Ethics Situational Analysis
This was a term paper prepared for COM 362- Media Ethics, researching and evaluating the ethical standpoint behind the controversial attitudes presented by the CBS reality show Big Brother Season 21 contestants. This paper explores the conflicting values, normative framework, stakeholders interest, and effects of the situation. Overall, connecting the studies of Kant’s duty approach to ethics with the need and understanding of transparency in the media.
